Can Viagra Cure Erectile Dysfunction Permanently

Why Viagra can’t provide a permanent cure for erectile dysfunction?
As reported by the FDA in the year 1998, sildenafil (Viagra) evolved as a drug and treated erectile dysfunction. In 2003, FDA also approved of two more similar type of drugs which were: vardenafil (Levitra) and tadalafil (Cialis). However, buying cheap Viagra continued to be the most used medicine for erectile dysfunction by people.
All these three drugs work in a similar way in their treatment by blocking the PDE5 enzyme which breaks down guanosine monophosphate which breaks down the erection-producing chemical.
Erectile dysfunction(ED) as the name defines is not being able to maintain an erection. This happens due to a failure of arteries to take the blood to the penis as they narrow down. And this happens because of increased deposits of fatty layers (atheroma) which take place in these arteries. ED is commonly treated for a temporary time by taking a pill before sex. As for some people, the penis can only become partly erect but is not hard enough for any activity further and also some reported that there was no swelling or fullness of the penis.
Erectile dysfunction causes random, muddled and confused thoughts in brains of men who are suffering from it. Also, this causes anxiety and doubts in performance for men with ED or other sex problems.
Why Viagra can’t effect permanently.
Viagra or sildenafil stays in the human body for a maximum of 5 hours as it works by increasing the working of arteries which provide blood flow to the penis by making it erect for a longer period of time. As this process can’t work forever it ends and causes a temporary but effective result. Few men have also reported that they started to feel the effect wear off within 2-3 after taking it for the first time. Viagra cannot work permanently but there are certain factors which can make it work for a longer period of time and effectively like taking this pill on an empty stomach, or a higher dose (but strictly prescribed by your doctor), any liver/kidney problem as this will take a longer time to breakdown by the system.
Viagra does not belong to an aphrodisiac type of drugs which means for an effective result of this drug you need to be sexually stimulated as well. Mostly men complain of erectile dysfunction by the age of 70 or above as persistent or recurring. Viagra inhibitor should not be consumed if someone is taking nitrate medicines which are usually used to treat angina or if you have high blood pressure as this medication can drop the pressure suddenly.
Viagra is recommended to be taken in dosage of 25-100 mg which should be taken 1-4 hours before any sexual activity. Also, Viagra should not be mixed with Revatio or any other PDE5 inhibitor.
Being known as sildenafil, the active ingredient in this medicine can cause temporary eyesight loss in few healthy people and permanent loss of sight for people suffering retinitis pigmentosa. Viagra can cause various side effects like warmth or redness on the neck, chest face. It can also cause a stuffy nose, headaches, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain and also an inability to differ from colors blue and green. Other potential side effects are ringing in the ears, hearing disability and weakness. Discussing all health conditions (minor/major) with the prescribing doctor is mandatory before the course of taking Viagra is started by any patient for an effective and safer result.
